Babar Azam’s swing finishes with the bat across his upper body, while the wicketkeeper stays close behind the stumps.

Babar Azam’s bat finishes across his upper body in this crease-side glimpse of his batting. The green-clad batter swings in front of the stumps, with the wicketkeeper crouched close behind.

The follow-through is the detail to watch: the bat travels across the body as the swing completes, leaving the batter extended in front of the wicket. The stumps remain visible behind him, placing the movement in its tight space at the crease.

There is no need to guess the shot or the occasion to appreciate the mechanics on view. It is a single, clear detail: the bat crossing the upper body at the end of the swing.
