How is the estimate calculated?
It uses available file information such as clip count, duration, file size, resolution and orientation. The internal formula is not a valuation or guaranteed offer.
Will you buy everything I upload?
Not necessarily. Manual review may select some, all or none of the footage. A final offer clearly lists the selected clips.
Who owns footage after upload?
You do. Uploading and receiving an estimate do not transfer ownership. Rights transfer applies only to selected clips after you accept a final offer and agreement.
What happens to rejected footage?
Unselected and rejected footage is never published or used and is scheduled for deletion under our retention policy.
How am I paid?
The final offer is one GBP amount for all selected clips. Payment is recorded after acceptance; SportLocation never asks for card or online-banking credentials.
Can I counter the offer?
Yes. You may submit one overall counter-offer. Individual clip prices are not shown or negotiated.
