SportLocation covers golf, cricket, football, tennis, Formula 1 and fitness through sporting footage and the stories around it. Our aim is to give fans something worth watching and a clear, useful read.

A remarkable performance, a revealing interview or a detail from the practice ground can all make a good story. Sometimes a short account of the moment is enough; a clip does not need a grand narrative to be worth watching.
Where reporting adds useful context, we draw on coverage relevant to that story and credit it. Commentary should be distinguishable from established facts.
Accuracy and context
Our standard is to support names, results, dates and quotations with the footage or relevant sources, and to make uncertainty clear when it matters. A guess should not become a fact just because it makes a stronger headline.
Archive footage may accompany a later story about an athlete. That does not make the clip a recording of the event being discussed. We aim to distinguish when footage was recorded from when an article was published.
Sources and credit
Supporting coverage can include official sporting organisations, athletes and teams, established newsrooms and specialist publications. Links let readers consult the reporting behind an article. A source should support the claim it is cited for, not merely mention the same athlete.
SportLocation brings together footage and context; we do not present other publishers’ reporting as our own interviews or first-hand reporting. Showing a video here does not imply that we filmed or own it. Rights concerns can be raised through our copyright and removal page.
AI assistance and cover artwork
We use AI to assist with research, writing and checks. Articles are not routinely reviewed by a person before publication, and errors can occur. These standards apply regardless of how a piece was prepared.
The sporting videos are source footage, not AI-generated scenes. Magazine covers may use AI-assisted edits of video frames for an illustrated editorial treatment. A cover is artwork, not separate photographic evidence of an event.
Corrections and commercial links
Advertising and affiliate links are labelled. SportLocation may earn a commission from qualifying purchases; that does not make a product link evidence for an editorial claim.
