Babar Azam’s cover drive, kept compact

Babar Azam’s bat comes across his body as he plays through the off side, a controlled shape the commentary singles out.

Babar Azam’s cover drive is shown in a poised, compact shape: the bat comes across his body, with the wicketkeeper set behind him. The montage gives the stroke room to register without turning it into a frame-by-frame lesson.

The commentary calls out another cover drive and describes Azam playing through the off side without leaving his crease. That stillness is the detail to watch: his base stays settled as the bat does the work, giving the shot a clean line through the off side.

The other views offer glimpses of the outfield and boundary, but the batting remains the point. Azam’s bat finishes across his body.
