Ben Stokes and the shape of a delivery

Ben Stokes is shown bowling in a red shirt, his follow-through carrying him towards a maroon-clad batter at the crease.

Ben Stokes is shown in a red shirt, following through towards a batter in maroon. The delivery’s clearest detail is its forward finish: the bowler continues towards the pitch as the batter holds position by the stumps.

An umpire stands behind the action, while a second batter waits at the far end. The surrounding cuts include a crowd and a West Indies player raising an arm, but the bowling sequence holds the sporting focus: a delivery completed with the bowler moving into the space in front of him.
