Lee Haney turns bodybuilding poses into a study in presentation

SportLocation Fitness Desk · 2 Oct 2026

A sequence of close flexes and a rear double-arm pose shows how Haney uses changing angles to present his physique.

Lee Haney’s posing sequence is built around a simple idea: each turn offers a different view. In a close side-facing flex, he brings the chest and shoulder into prominence; later, facing away, he raises both arms into a symmetrical pose that puts his back at the centre.

That change of angle is the point. Bodybuilding presentation is not one held shape but a sequence of deliberate positions, each asking the physique to read differently. Haney moves from a tight, close-up flex to an extended pose, then gives the rear double-arm stance its own clear moment.
