Lee Priest puts the emphasis on the curl
SportLocation Fitness Desk · 8 Sept 2026
Lee Priest’s gym clip is built around one thing: upper-body work done with control, then squeezed hard at the top of the rep.
Lee Priest spends this clip in the lane bodybuilders know best: strict upper-body work, no flourish, just tension.
The clearest moment comes on the curl, where the dumbbell sits high and the arm is fully packed in. That is the point of the sequence — not speed, but the squeeze at the top, where the load looks heaviest and the form most deliberate.
Earlier, Priest is shown on cables with both arms raised, then later braced over a pad with his head down as he grinds through the set. The thread running through all of it is control. He is not chasing movement for its own sake; he is keeping the rep tight and making the muscle do the work.
It leaves a simple impression: this is training built around isolation, and the curl is the shot that tells you why.
