Nick Walker’s cable-curl burnout sets the tone
SportLocation Fitness Desk · 17 Sept 2026
Nick Walker opens this gym montage with a heavy cable-curl burnout, all tension, no wasted motion.
Nick Walker’s training clip starts with the sort of arm work that leaves no room for showboating: a cable-curl burnout, bar held high and elbows locked into a tight pulling line.
It is the cleanest moment in the montage because the exercise is obvious at a glance. Walker is not chasing range for its own sake here; he is keeping the resistance where the biceps have to do the job, rep after rep.
The rest of the sequence stays in the same hard-edged gym lane, moving through push-up work, pulldown positions, an incline press and a leg-press set. But the opening curl is the point of the piece: a direct, punishing arm finisher that sets the tone for everything after it.
For a clip built around effort, that first frame does the best work. It is compact, loaded and unmistakably about the burn.
