Ernie Els seen working through a long-iron swing on the range
SportLocation Golf Desk · 1 Sept 2026
Ernie Els is identified in the post metadata, while the video shows a golfer moving through a controlled long-iron practice swing on an outdoor driving range. The scene is simple and focused: address, a full coil, then a balanced finish with the club wrapped over the shoulder.
Ernie Els is the named athlete in the post metadata, and the video centres on a calm practice-range long-iron swing rather than a tournament moment. The golfer sets up over the ball, works the club up into a full backswing and finishes in balance on the lead leg.
The setting is an open driving range with target boards in the distance, a practice mat underfoot and a golf bag parked nearby. It is a straightforward training scene, with the motion of the swing and the controlled finish doing the talking.
No result, event outcome or interview detail is supplied alongside the post, so the reporting stays with the supported action and the golfing context available from the source material.
