Rory McIlroy's tee-shot rhythm comes into focus as BMW Championship form sharpens

Rory McIlroy is the focus of a tee-shot sequence that shows a compact takeaway, a full release and a high finish, while recent PGA Tour coverage has him surging into contention at the BMW Championship and still weighing up his game ahead of the Tour Championship.
Rory McIlroy is the named athlete in this tee-shot sequence, and the action is all about a calm set-up, a compact takeaway and a balanced finish. He settles over the ball on a closely mown teeing area, with spectators gathered on a grassy slope behind him and a flagpole in the distance, before driving through the strike and holding the finish high.
That swing detail sits neatly alongside the stronger press angle around his recent PGA Tour form. PGA Tour coverage said McIlroy vaulted into the final pairing in a remarkable turnaround at the BMW Championship, while another PGA Tour report linked his contention there to a unique training aid and a new rehearsal. Sky Sports also reported that he maintained concerns over his game heading into the Tour Championship despite the late title push.
Taken together, the sources point to a player whose tee-shot rhythm is part of a broader effort to sharpen his game at the business end of the FedExCup run. The video's simple, composed tee-shot action matches the sort of controlled driving that matters when a tournament is tightening and every shot starts to carry more weight.
