A mannequin wall and a stationary ball set the test as Yamal approaches a free-kick in training.
Lamine Yamal has a wall of mannequins to beat. In this training sequence, he approaches a stationary ball and strikes towards a goal screened by the black figures.
That barrier gives the kick its shape: the ball has to clear the mannequins before the goal can come into play. The footage catches Yamal leaning into contact, then standing facing the target area. It does not show where the ball finishes, but the setup makes the task clear.
A free-kick is a small exercise in finding a route through a crowded sightline. Here, the mannequins are the immediate obstacle; the ball waits just in front of them.
