Iga Swiatek links the upward reach of her serve to an overhead strike and a forward finish.

Iga Swiatek’s serve is a connected sequence, not just an overhead swing. She raises her tossing arm while drawing the racket out to the side, setting the motion upwards before the strike.

As the racket comes above her head, Swiatek bends through her knees; in the swing, she is airborne, her torso leaning into the motion. The forward follow-through brings the racket down near the court, with one leg lifted behind her to carry the movement through.
