About SportLocation

The fan view of sport, given a proper home.

SportLocation is an independent sports video network built around moments captured outside the conventional broadcast. We turn individual clips into useful, searchable stories without pretending that a short video proves more than it does.

One network, six focused publications

SportLocation brings together GolfLocation, CricketLocation, SoccerLocation, TennisLocation, F1Location and FitnessLocation. Each publication follows the language, technique and culture of its own sport while sharing one editorial standard.

The network began with social video. The website adds the context that a caption cannot: moments to watch, careful visual observations, relevant background, sources and a clear account of uncertainty.

02

Why video comes first

A fan angle can reveal details that disappear in a polished broadcast: a routine before the action, a view of equipment, the sound of a venue or a movement worth replaying. The original clip is therefore the anchor of every SportLocation story.

We do not publish a page simply because a social post exists. A website candidate must contain enough visible evidence to support a distinct article. If the clip cannot clear that threshold, it can remain a social post without becoming a web story.

03

Independent and accountable

SportLocation is operated by Matthew James Convie as an independent UK sole trader. Editorial material is kept separate from commercial links, and advertising is not permitted to decide whether a story is published.

Readers can challenge an identification, factual claim or use of media through our corrections and copyright processes. Material errors are corrected clearly; credible rights complaints are investigated promptly.
