Information collected
We collect contributor contact details, filming context, uploaded footage, technical file metadata, estimate inputs and range, offer and agreement records, PayPal receiver email, payment status and security data such as IP address and user agent.
Why we use it
We process information to provide estimates, review footage, communicate, take steps before and perform contracts, protect the service and meet legal obligations. We do not make automated purchasing decisions.
Private storage and access
Files are private by default. Video URLs are short-lived and available only to authorised admin sessions. Large video files upload directly to Supabase Storage and do not pass through Vercel functions.
Processors and transfers
We use Vercel, Supabase and Resend to operate the service, and PayPal to process accepted-offer payouts. Their services may involve international transfers protected by applicable safeguards.
Retention
Abandoned uploads are scheduled for deletion after seven days. Rejected and unselected footage is scheduled for deletion within 30 days. Purchased clips and transaction records are retained only for commercial and legal needs. See the retention policy.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object where applicable. You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
Cookies
SportLocation uses only essential session and security cookies at launch. We do not use advertising cookies. We will add a consent control before introducing non-essential analytics cookies.
